Hello! I am Kijin Seong, an Assistant Professor in the Division of Planning, Landscape Architecture, and Design at the University of Oklahoma. I am an urban planner and resilience researcher whose work explores the intersections of urban informatics, emerging technologies, and climate resilience. My research investigates how data, computational methods, and technological innovations can help us better understand the complex challenges facing cities and develop more resilient and adaptive urban systems. Ultimately, I aim to bridge data-driven research and planning practice to support more sustainable, equitable, and resilient communities.
